SVSU BASKETBALL

ESPN 100.9-FM presented Saginaw Valley State University Cardinals men's and women's basketball.  Our coverage is presented by your local Meijer stores and brought to you in part by Linked Technologies.

Join Brad Golder and Dave Slaggert for the play-by-play excitement of Frankie Smith and the SVSU men's basketball squad and Shannon Baugh and the Cardinals women's hoops team.

Nearly all SVSU men's basketball games will be broadcast live on ESPN 100.9-FM and all games will be aired on ESPN1009.com.  ESPN 100.9-FM will also carry a select number of women's basketball games on both ESPN 100.9-FM and ESPN1009.com.

All games begin with a 30-minute pregame show and feature a 15-minute postgame show.

ESPN 100.9-FM is also your home for Cardinal Coaches Corner, a 30-minute weekly talk show focusing on Cardinal athletics.  Join Brad Golder, Coach Smith and Coach Baugh from the Meijer store on Tittabawassee Road for Cardinal Coaches Corner Mondays from 6:30-7pm beginning on December 7.

“We are pleased to announce an extended partnership with SVSU,” said Paul Barbeau, ESPN 100.9-FM’s president and general manager. “As an organization, we have always been committed to SVSU and we are pleased to bring them back to the ESPN 100.9-FM airwaves on a permanent basis.”

Advertising opportunities are available for ESPN 100.9-FM’s programming lineup, which includes SVSU, Michigan State and Saginaw Valley League high school basketball games.  Scott Litle is accepting inquiries at 989-837-6128 or slitle@loons.com.  A portion of all sales revenues for Cardinal sports broadcasts will be donated to Saginaw Valley State University.
