Brad Golder, the inaugural Voice of the Loons, returns for his third season as the Loons’ play-by-play broadcaster in 2009.
In addition to broadcasting all regular-season and post-season Loons games, Golder serves as host of all pre- and post-game programs on ESPN 100.9-FM and provides daily Loons updates during Mike and Mike in the Morning and the Huge Show during the season. Golder serves as the host of Loons Weekly on My-5 TV.
Brad worked for the Detroit Lions Radio Network and flagship station WXYT-FM as the NFL scoreboard anchor and halftime show host. Prior to joining the Loons, Golder spent two seasons working for the Atlanta Braves Radio Network as the Operations Manager and Producer. He also served as the part-time host of the Braves’ post-game show and provided interviews and feature stories for the pre- and post-game shows.
Prior to that, Golder worked in Nashville as a play-by-play broadcaster for the Nashville Sounds and for Vanderbilt Baseball and as a reporter and sports talk show host for WWTN and WNFN radio stations. He has also provided play-by-play for the West Tenn Diamond Jaxx.
